This being my first post about photography, I am feeling a little nervous. I love taking photos. I love photography & everything about it. Problem is- I am like the Rachel Ray of photography. [Seriously, I just said that] I am kind of making it up as I go along, and just so happens I am fairly decent at it.
My subject-du-jour would have to be nature/scenery/outdoors. My favorite activity for the past year plus has been wandering around our woods and snapping photos of random things I come across. I am always taking my camera wherever my husband and I go- whether its 45 minutes south to our parents new property, out for a hike in Empire, or just a random Sunday drive, the camera is a necessity & makes it on every trip.
I have also been so lucky to do some of my great friends' engagement sessions. Which- is a whole other beast- but one that I enjoyed so much & definitely would LOVE to continue to do.
[This subject will obviously call for a whole separate blog, so hang tight.]
The engagement sessions had lead me to consider doing family portraits- epecially with the holidays coming up. I have one under my belt and was so lucky to shoot such a beautiful family. Felicia, Fred & Wilder were a fantastic way to start out. They were so laid back & fun!
I can't wait to post those photos for you to see.
Anyway, enough of my rambling. Here's one of my favorite photos from my trip to Nashville. Its an old bike outside of a country store in Lieper's Fork, TN!
Much Love
M
